About Amoebunnies

Game Description

Amoebunnies™ is a game of medium complexity and maximum cuteness. It's an asymmetrical game where players race to complete their unique objective first. Each character has their own method of movement as well as special abilities which makes each play a new experience. It's a game for 2-6 players ages 10+ with a play time of about 10 minutes per player.

If you're familiar with Root, Amoebunnies can be discribed as "Root-lite". It's faster to learn and play, while also being less combative which will keep you from hating your friends by the end of the night. Some characters even have mutually beneficial abilities which are fun for everyone. Check out our rule book and sell sheet to learn more.

Meet the Amoebunnies

Roy

Speedy and focused, this bunny rushes around the Mists taking care of errands for the various creatures of the lands.

Cam

The biggest of the bunnies, usually. He has a hard time staying together and will gloop off a bit here and there and glom back together again.

Sarı

Sarı loves to hide gifts for her friends to find. She doesn't mind keeping one for herself now and then either.

Midori

Flying carefree around the lands, Midori can usually be spotted chasing rainbows to find whatever might lie at the end.

Sunil

Creative but forgetful, Sunil likes to express himself with his art. Hopefully he won't get lost along the way.

Violet

Studious and inventive, Violet wants to learn more about the world around her. She'll find ways to overcome obstacles that get in her way.

History of Amoebunnies

Brainstorm Clouds

The first bunnies were drawn as simply random sketches in Darcy's sketchbook.

Developing Personality

Most of the character development came from the development of a mobile game for the Android.

Sketchy Gifts

Darcy would regularly give gifts that would contain bunnies within the pages.

Streaming Days

The bunnies got their first exposure when featured on Jaime's Twitch stream.

Getting Crafty

Jaime's wife Sandy crafted a set of amigurumi Amoebunnies which were a hit for everyone.

Hop On Board

The latest undertaking is the creation of a board game featuring the bunnies.
